Dr. Melissa Weidert - OBGYN
WholeLife Authentic Care is pleased to announce that Melissa Weidert, MD will be joining the clinic as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist. Dr. Weidert is one of only 28 surgeons in the country who are fellowship trained in the medical and surgical practices of NaProTECHNOLOGY (Natural Procreative Technology) — a unique women’s health science that monitors and maintains a woman’s reproductive and gynecologic health.
Dr. Weidert graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in 2011, and most recently worked at HSHS Saint Mary’s Hospital Medical Center in Green Bay, Wisc., where she worked to restore her patients’ health and fertility as the medical and surgical NaProTECHNOLOGY fellow and responsible medical consultant at the FertilityCare Center at St. Gianna Clinic.
“We are excited and grateful to have Dr. Weidert on our team,” said President of WholeLife Authentic Care Nicole Havrilla. “Women in North Texas would like physicians to incorporate natural family planning with reproductive health monitoring; her expertise and knowledge will allow us to offer comprehensive care to women and families across North Texas.”
“Medical and surgical NaProTECHNOLOGY treatments provide the ultimate toolbox to take care of women and their families. I strive to treat the whole person and create individualized care plans for each situation. I feel very blessed to be joining WholeLife and the Dallas-Fort Worth community and look forward to this wonderful opportunity,” said Dr. Weidert.
Dr. Weidert completed fellowship training in NaProTECHNOLOGY at the Pope Paul VI Institute for the Study of Human Reproduction in Omaha, Neb. She is enrolled as a provider in the Abortion Pill Reversal program, a national network of healthcare providers trained in abortion pill reversal procedures and care. In addition to her medical experience, Dr. Weidert has an impressive resumé that includes membership in the St. John Paul the Great Society of Procreative Surgeons, the American Academy of FertilityCare Professionals, and the American Association of Pro-life Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Earlier this year, WholeLife announced that Dr. Sally Kurz will be joining the clinic in the fall as a general practitioner. With the medical team that WholeLife is building, the whole family will be welcomed and cared for. The clinic, located at 1000 Bonnie Brae Ave., is scheduled to open in Fall 2019.
NaProTECHNOLOGY (NaPro) focuses on medical and surgical treatments that work in conjunction with a woman’s menstrual cycle to treat a full range of gynecologic issues, creating individualized treatment plans based on each woman’s situation. It is also the first women’s health science to incorporate natural family planning with reproductive health monitoring and maintenance, empowering women to learn about their bodies and how best to care for themselves. NaPro uses the Creighton Model FertilityCare System biomarkers in order to uniquely and accurately evaluate and treat hormonal events during the menstrual cycle.
